I had a mixed experience at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. The hotel's location was superb, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to many attractions. However, the room left much to be desired with its lack of drawers and a rather uncomfortable shower setup. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the high parking fees were a disappointment.

I had a mixed experience at Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. While the location was fantastic, close to many attractions and downtown, I found several amenities lacking compared to my previous visits. The hotel's unique historic charm was somewhat overshadowed by its current limitations post-pandemic, which were not clearly communicated during booking.

Rooms

The room was clean and comfortable, but I missed having drawers or shelves for storage. There was only a small luggage rack and no bathtub, just a shower. The bed was cozy, but I was concerned to find the sheets hadn't been changed upon arrival.

I had a pretty enjoyable stay at Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, with a couple of ups and downs. The location is prime, making it easy to explore downtown and the nearby parks. However, the room design left something to be desired, especially regarding storage and functionality. Overall, it's a charming spot with great amenities, but some aspects could use improvement.

Rooms

My room was spacious, but it had zero drawers and some design quirks that felt sub-par. The bed was comfortable, but the lack of functional space in the bathroom was a letdown.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, and it was a mixed experience. The hotel's ambiance is beautiful, and the location is great, but I faced some challenges with the package deal I booked. I had a wonderful room, and the overall vibe of the hotel was quite pleasant, yet the service did leave some room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, which I really appreciated. However, I had to call for a night manager to sort out some issues at check-in, which could have been smoother.
Service
6.0
While some staff were friendly and accommodating, I found the response times for requests lacking. For instance, I had to remind them multiple times for basic services, which was disappointing.

The hotel's location is a highlight; it's close to the Mississippi River and plenty of attractions. It made getting around quite easy, which I loved.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the hotel was enjoyable, though I faced some disappointments with breakfast service. The quality was hit or miss, and I found the breakfast buffet lacking during peak hours.
Facilities

The hotel has a nice pool and gym area with decent equipment. However, I wished some equipment like the treadmills were better maintained, as they were quite noisy.
